Her Team Dynamite (10U) always comes prepared and fiercely competitive, yet plays with true sportsmanship. She builds confidence, character, and integrity, inspiring her athletes to compete with heart and joy every game.

We're proud to recognize Coach Phil D. Pitts as this week's Youth Coach of the Week, celebrated for his unwavering dedication to the game and his commitment to honoring tradition. Coaching runs deep in Phil's blood. A lifelong coach, he follows in the footsteps of his father, Phil R. Pitts, who coached him as a young athlete. Now, Phil D. is carrying that legacy forward—coaching his own son, Phillip W., and continuing a family tradition that spans generations. Even more special, Grandpa Pitts still lends a helping hand, making it a true three-generation coaching team. Coach Pitts is more than just a leader on the field—he's a living example of what it means to build a legacy, foster family values, and inspire the next generation through the power of sport. Congratulations, Coach Pitts, and thank you for honoring tradition in such a powerful way!

Red Kingdom: 2nd Grade Team
Coach Joe leads with humility, teaching his players that winning is great—but character matters more. A strong team starts with strong values. From the heart of Osage County, Coach Joe started this team to give local kids the chance to experience the sport—and discover their potential. Above all, Coach Joe honors the tradition of family. As a dedicated father of six, he shows that leadership begins at home.

Kansas City YMCA - Park Hill League
KC Rockets: 4/5th Grade, 6/7th Grade, and HS Girls
Dillon is a great example of a volunteer coaches, goes above and beyond to give the kids a great experience. He also works with a lot of underprivileged kids and does a lot of fundraisers to help make sure the players get to play.
