Each of the Kansas City Chiefs' six draft picks embarked on a rite of passage earlier this week as the rookies gave Kansas City barbecue a try for the very first time.
The players – linebacker Breeland Speaks, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, linebacker Dorian O'Daniel, defensive back Armani Watts, defensive back Tremon Smith and offensive guard Kahlil McKenzie – tried sausage, brisket, pulled pork, ribs and burnt ends before ranking their favorite dishes at the end.
To quote O'Daniel, "the hype is real."
