Kingdom Life: Charcandrick West "Sings for Superheroes"

West made a music video to help raise awareness for arthritis

Who would have thought? Chiefs running back Charcandrick West can sing.

West recently partnered with "Singing for Superheroes," a company that musically motivates and inspires kids as they overcome illness or disability.

The 26-year-old West and his partner in crime for the track, 10-year-old Jillian Reid, share the fact that they suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, so the song's title, "Body of Steel," and its lyrics hope to raise awareness for the disease and the Arthritis Foundation.

After watching the music video above, you can read more about West's battle against the disease in a long-form piece first released by Chiefs.com last year, titled, “The Man Behind the Smile.”
